To excel as a strong and confident Nail Technician, it is important that Students master this beginner level before moving on to advanced Nail Techniques such BIAB, Acrylic Nail or Gel Nail Extensions.
To be successful in your career, a solid knowledge and confident skill set at this level is essential.
Once enrolled on to the course, you will receive a welcome email as well as a copy of the in-depth Gel Polish with Manicure Training Manual. This will allow you to begin studying the intricate and fascinating world of Nails!
Training Day at the Academy:
Your scheduled training will consist of one full day at our Academy. The day will commence at 9.30 and finish at 4pm. Your in-depth theory can be completed online prior to your training day.
We have broken the training day into 3 manageable sections incorporating a variation of learning techniques:
Section 1: Theory recap, product knowledge and business advice
Section 2: Demonstration by an experienced Educator on a live model.
Section 3: Students complete a full treatment on a Live Model. This will be done with the support and supervision of your Educator.
Please note you will be required to bring your own model at 13.30 Models must not have bitten nails and must be free from any product.
Following the Academy Training Day, you will be required to submit 3 case studies for assessment. You will also have a knowledge theory exam to submit for marking. This will allow us the opportunity to be satisfied that you have complete understanding of all that has been taught.
Upon successful completion, you will received your Accredited Certificate which will allow you to gain Insurance and begin your professional journey as a Nail Technician.
